: Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals

Intel has been actively monitoring the specifics of the REACh requirements since the EU adoption of Regulation No. 1907/2006 on December 18, 2006. could potentially affect thousands of chemicals used in the electronics industry. Intel performed an impact analysis that includes the (pre-) registration, notification of substances of very high concern (SVHC), and disclosure of information obligations to the downstream supply chain and the users. Please refer to the Intel Dear Customer Letter for information regarding the presence of REACh SVHC in Intel products. If you want to know which specific MiTAC Computing Technology Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "MiTAC") products contain SVHC above threshold, please contact your MiTAC Representative (Sales or Customer Quality) in your region.

Continuous Monitoring of the SVHC List

MiTAC is proactively monitoring the additional substances that are being added to the SVHC List.

All of MiTAC's upstream suppliers, including the manufacturing partners and piece parts suppliers, have been informed about the published SVHC List.

MiTAC uses a very comprehensive Green Product database to manage all its material composition for material declaration purposes. The SVHC List will continue to be bounced against the items on the database to determine their presence.


REACh Annex XVII

MiTAC has completed surveying its supply chain on the use of the substances listed in Annex XVII. None of the substances listed in Annex XVII is used in MiTAC devices or the packing material.
