BMC updates for compliance with California Senate Bill 327 (SB327)
To equip our devices with reasonable security features to comply with California's Senate Bill No. 327, which took effect on January 1st 2020, new BMC firmware packages have been issued which require users to change their password after logging into their BMC for the first time.
Description:
- Add new SKUs for S7136 systems with ACBEL1300W PSU.
- Support keep phy link-up feature.
- Support KVM timeout feature.
- Support OCP3.0 card Broadcom BCM957414N4140C temperature sensor reading (BTS010 #0132).
- Improve the function to get PSU status.
- Modify the sensor number and Entity ID of Dimm error sensors.
- Modify the sensor type of power watt sensors to 0x08 to fix no Power Supplies info on BMC web System Inventory - Power.
- Fix Preserve configuration save fail on WEBGui.
- Fix PEF cannot display sensor name while the sensor number equals 0.
- Fix SEL log cannot download from web GUI when add OEM record type SEL.
- Disable socflash function.
Firmware Dependency:
- For "GC68A" SKUs (SKU ID 0x31 and 0x34), please update the BIOS firmware to version 1.02 (or later).
- For "-HE" SKUs (SKU ID 0x37, 0x38, 0x39, 0x3A), please update the BIOS firmware to version 1.00 (or later).
- For other OTS SKUs (SKU ID 0x01, 0x02, 0x32, 0x33, 0x35, 0x36), please update the BIOS firmware to version 1.01 (or later).
