BMC updates for compliance with California Senate Bill 327 (SB327)
To equip our devices with reasonable security features to comply with California's Senate Bill No. 327, which took effect on January 1st 2020, new BMC firmware packages have been issued which require users to change their password after logging into their BMC for the first time.
Description:
1. Apply AMI solution for fixing memory leak in restful command
2. Modify setting for BMC memory size
3. Fix issue that failed to update BIOS FW via BMC Web UI
4. Fix issue that BIOS gets stucked when using certain types of Broadcom RAID card. Reset BIOS future setting by deleting its attributes (RTP).
5. Add solution to prevent get status timeout includes identify flash action while update BIOS via WEB
6. Modify SDR to set sensor capabilities for sensor, "SYS_Air_Inlet", "MB_Air_Inlet", "SYS_Air_Outlet" and "X550_TEMP".
7. Add human readable event message into download file
8. Support DCMI power reading
9. Add ACPI_Power_State SDR
- Note 1: Due to v3.00 modify BMC memory size, BMC needs fully update from v2.00 (or prior version) to v3.00.
Recommend to use update script: Updat_BMC.sh Updat_BMC_OOB.sh Updat_BMC_OOB_win.bat Updat_BMC_win.bat Updat_BMC_SOC.nsh or WEB-UI for BMC flash update.
