Introducing two upcoming AMD EPYC server platforms for CSP system builders: The TYAN Tomcat CX S8253 server board and Transport CX TS65-B8253 server platform. The S8253 server board, in an EATX form factor, is designed with dual AMD EPYC 7002 CPUs, 16 DDR4-3200 DIMM slots, 5 PCIe slots with up to 88 Gen.4 lanes, 2 10GbE and 2 GbE onboard LAN ports. System builders can easily deploy S8253 in any off-the-shelf 2U chassis and assemble a working server platform. The TS65-B8253 deploys the S8253 board in TYAN TS65 2U enclosure accommodating 12 hot-swap, tool-less 3.5" SATA drive bays (4 bays support NVMe U.2 as well) at front side and 2 hot-swap, tool-less 2.5" SATA drive bays at rear for boot drive installation. The 2U platform provides up to 7 Low-profile PCIe Gen.4 slots for various CSP use cases.
