MiTAC WS1S11 - Whitestone2 O-RAN CU/DU Edge Server

The MiTAC WS1S11 - Whitestone2 O-RAN CU/DU Edge Server is a compact and highly efficient 1U rackmount solution designed for edge computing in O-RAN (Open Radio Access Network) environments. Featuring support for the 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processor Edge Enhanced Product Family, it delivers robust performance with a single socket (LGA-4677) that supports up to 205W TDP. The server provides excellent memory capabilities with 8 DDR5 RDIMM slots supporting 4400 MHz speeds across 8 channels per CPU.

For expansion, the WS1S11 is equipped with two PCIe Gen.4 x16 slots (FHHL) and advanced networking options, including up to 6x 25G SFP28 and 4x 10G SFP+ ports or 4x 25G SFP28 and 8x 10G SFP+ ports using Intel's Columbiaville technology.

Additionally, the server includes dual M.2 slots for fast PCIe Gen.3 storage. Power redundancy is ensured with a dual-feed -48VDC 600W power supply, making it a resilient and reliable choice for deployment in edge computing and telecom infrastructures that require high bandwidth, low latency, and scalable compute resources in a compact form factor.
