BMC updates for compliance with California Senate Bill 327 (SB327)
To equip our devices with reasonable security features to comply with California's Senate Bill No. 327, which took effect on January 1st 2020, new BMC firmware packages have been issued which require users to change their password after logging into their BMC for the first time.
Description:
- Fix Fan tach sensor readings exceed actual value.
- Fix: hpm update will be failed when the BMC isnot ready to do it.
- Fix Px_Temp no reading when over uc threshold.
- Enable http redirect to https feature.
- Fix: User lockout help Simplified Chinese description incorrect.
Firmware Dependency:
- For "GC68A" SKUs (SKU ID 0x31 and 0x34), please update the BIOS firmware to version 1.02 (or later).v - For "-HE" SKUs (SKU ID 0x37, 0x38, 0x39, 0x3A), please update the BIOS firmware to version 1.00 (or later).
- For other OTS SKUs (SKU ID 0x01, 0x02, 0x32, 0x33, 0x35, 0x36), please update the BIOS firmware to version 1.01 (or later).
